I’m a friggen knitting machine

Seriously…I’m like a crazy knitter lately. OK so not really, in reality…the only reason I’ve been fanatical about knitting is because I had a deadline that I HAD to meet. Which reminds me that my “I don’t like to knit with deadlines” theory is a good one…just too much ‘effin pressure.

But alas…the blanket I was knitting came out super cute. (it’s in the blocking process so this pic is of the “underneath” part…but check it out anyway:

It’s a pinwheel blanket…find the pattern here. I started and ripped this sucker out a few times before it finally clicked…but when it did…it started knitting up really quickly. I added a little green at the edge because the momma to be said she liked that color combo…and actually I think it makes the blanket look watermelon-ish. Which I like. What are your thoughts? (I say that like people actually read this…hehehe)
